We would like to invite parents/carers and students to our Transition Evening held on Thursday 27th June 2024 at 18.00. This event will provide you with some key information about the Academy ahead of the Transition Day on Friday 28th June 2024 08.35 – 14.00.
The most important thing to us is that all students within our academy are happy and safe, educated by subject specialist teachers and offered a curriculum that has rigorous academic and vocational qualifications. High-quality learning is absolutely at the heart of what we do at St Aldhelm’s Academy. We have a very clear teaching style across all subjects which ensures our pupils are supported and challenged academically in an engaging and creative environment.
Our high-quality learning environment makes attending the academy a pleasure. Our facilities are modern and well equipped, with a theatre, dance studio, computer suites and well-presented classrooms.
Strong leadership at all levels of the academy is firmly established. Our team have transformed the quality of the education and provision that is offered. Most importantly for parents, it is a leadership team that is accessible, attentive and will always morally do the right thing by your child to ensure their education is high quality and appropriate to their needs. In my opinion, communication and working in partnership with parents is essential to meeting the challenges of education today!
We very much hope to see you at the welcome/information evening. You will have an opportunity to meet members of the leadership team, tour around the site and ask any questions that you may have. Our mantra is ‘High Expectations Lead to High Achievers’ and by attending the evening you will have the opportunity to see in practice how this looks, gaining an insight into how we have achieved our success to date.
