The challenges of life within the 21^st century are both unique and ever changing. Life never stops teaching us lessons therefore we must educate our students to never stop learning.

At St Aldhelm’s Academy, we pride ourselves on our inclusive, student-centred community, whereby our young people are empowered and central to driving change and shaping the future of the education that we deliver.

Our broad and balanced curriculum is based on high expectations allowing students to be challenged in achieving their academic potential whilst developing their confidence, resilience and communication to be able to apply these skills within everyday situations in life. Mutual trust and respect in the relationships between teachers and students are crucial to our success!

We feel privileged to work within St Aldhelm’s Academy, we are proud of our journey thus far and we are passionate about achieving positive outcomes for all of our students.  We fully subscribe to the underlying principle held by Nelson Mandela that “Education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world,” and we strive daily to ensure that all students really appreciate the opportunity that education provides for them on a personal level.
