Talented Technology students have given the Wessex Cancer Trust a belated Christmas gift of £240.
The money was raised from the sale of students’ Christmas decorations in a pop-up shop at the Sovereign Centre, Boscombe last December.
Maria Tidy, Community Engagement Manager at the Wessex Cancer Trust, visited St Aldhelm’s Academy last Friday to meet some of the students who worked hard making and selling the festive decorations and collect the cheque for £240.
The project was a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their talents and we are hopeful of doing it again this year.
