Year 7 pupils formed a pop-up orchestra after taking part in a pioneering ensemble project.
We welcomed acclaimed guitarist and composer Chris Woods to school to lead ‘Orchestral Evolution‘ – a project that allows students of all abilities to play as a group.
From accomplished musicians to complete novices, all 30 students were able to take part in the workshop and develop their ensemble and musicianship skills.
Hopefully the opportunity will have helped build their confidence and understanding of different types of music playing – they certainly sounded great!
