Geography teacher Mrs Timms has a niece in Tortola, one of the British Virgin Islands, and is collecting donations of essential items to help people whose homes and businesses have been destroyed by Hurricane Irma.
They are particularly looking for small items that can be sent to her niece to distribute to friends and colleagues, particularly those with babies and small children.
Suggested items include:
Toiletries – soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes
Baby/toddler supplies such as clothes, nappies, creams etc
Dried packet food such as soups
