Well done to all the Year 7 students who rose to the challenge of building a Motte and Bailey castle over the Easter holidays.
We were amazed with the number of entries we received and the quality of the finished models.
As well as traditional models, there was an edible cake castle, a virtual Minecraft castle, a 2D drawing and Lego version.
Vice Principal Mrs Yarrow had a tough time judging the contest but winners have been chosen and will be announced in the next KS2 assembly.
Every entrant will receive a certificate and a congratulatory text home.
