World Book Day was a big success, with students taking part in a whole range of fun activities.
Pupils were able to pick a mystery book from our ‘Bookydip’ and invited to guess how many pages of his weighty book Mr Core has managed to read.
Every lesson started with the teacher reading a section of Roald Dahl’s ‘The Landlady,’ with the story gradually revealing itself throughout the day.
And we’d like to thank the Poole branches of WHSmith and Waterstones for their support – thanks to them every child in Year 7 and 8 will receive a book while those in Year 9, 10 and 11 will receive a World Book Day voucher.
