Surplus schoolbags delight Rwandan children

Spare St Aldhelm’s schoolbags are being put to good use on the other side of the world.

The bags are now being used by children from SACCA Ex-Streetchildren’s Project, which is supported by the Amakuru Trust. The project works with young people who lost their families or their homes as a result of the genocide.

We were delighted to receive this photo from the Amakuru Trust thanking us for the bags; it’s clear they are going to be very well-used by Rwandan students!
