Letter from the Regional School Commissioner

We are pleased to share with parents a letter that we have received from the Regional School’s Commissioner, who sent a representative to visit the academy towards the end of last term. The letter details the strengths of the academy and areas to continue embedding.

It is really encouraging to read that our marking, assessment and feedback are recognised as strengths as is our learning environment of which we are very proud.

We will continue to receive two further visits from the Regional School’s Commissioner this academic year and we will publish the contents of her findings. We hope that this will continue to reassure parents that the academy is firmly set on its journey towards outstanding following our rating as a good school in March of 2016.

If there are any questions that you have as a consequence of reading this letter, please do not hesitate to contact Principal Jon Webb.
