Has a teacher or a member of staff at St Aldhelm’s gone above and beyond in helping your child? If so, why not thank them by nominating them for a Daily Echo School Award?
The Daily Echo School Awards 2017 were launched several weeks ago and parents and carers are now being encouraged to nominate a member of school staff who they think deserves public recognition.
The Awards recognise everyone from teachers to school crossing supervisors, teaching assistants to head teachers and last year nine inspirational individuals were honoured for their commitment, determination and hard work.
This year, there are 11 categories available. To nominate, simply visit bournemouthecho.co.uk/schoolawards. All nominations must be received by the closing date of Friday, February 10, 2017. An independent judging panel will then take on the difficult task of creating a shortlist of three nominees per category.
The 2017 School Awards ceremony will take place at Talbot Heath School on March 17 and shortlisted nominees will be invited, along with a guest.
