Year 7 student Kevin Walker is once again celebrating sporting success – this time at the Riding for the Disabled National Championships.
Kevin, who uses a walking frame or a wheelchair to get around, competed on Puzzle and came 7th out of 21 competitors in his class at the National Championships in Gloucestershire.
This was an incredible achievement, particularly as lots of competitors in his class were older than Kevin.
It has been a busy and exciting year for Kevin. A fortnight ago, he competed in national wheelchair races, taking on the 200m, 100m and 4x100m relay. And in April, he completed the mini London marathon, taking 26.21 minutes to complete the 5k course in his racing wheelchair.
