Welcome to our Academy.  St Aldhelm’s Academy is a highly inclusive 11-16 school which is part of the Ambitions Academies Trust. I am very proud to have been appointed Principal and to take the Academy on the next stage of its journey.

Our vision is that ‘High Expectations lead to High Achievers.’  We set the highest of expectations for all members of our Academy; leaders, teachers, support staff and the students.  We expect high standards of appearance, punctuality, excellent attendance, and behaviour that is rooted in mutual respect for all members of the school community.  In return, we are dedicated to creating a safe and happy learning environment where students can study a high quality, broad and balanced curriculum. Students are given lessons that challenge and inspire them and extra-curricular opportunities that they enjoy and thrive in.

We put students at the forefront of everything we do and are committed to giving them the very best provision so that they can achieve their best.  We strongly believe that every child matters and every lesson counts and our staff work tirelessly to ensure that every student is given every opportunity to achieve their full potential.  We use our three values of Respect, Resilience, and Relationships to help the students to make good choices.  At St Aldhelm’s Academy we want our students to grow into upstanding and respectful citizens of the world.
