Technology talents on display
Last Friday, we held a Technology Showcase to display the incredible work that Year 11 students have completed this year. There was amazing artwork, delicious canapes, pewter casting and much, much more. Students, friends and families were invited along to celebrate their achievements. Read more.

Sports Day 2019
Sports Day 2019 was a great success, with students enjoying the chance to compete against their friends in a variety of track and field events. We were very pleased to officially welcome our new Year 7 pupils, parents and carers to St Aldhelm’s Academy last night. Free writing challenge for National Writing Day
Year 7 and 8 students were challenged to ‘free write’ for 7 minutes as we celebrated National Writing Day. Students were given a title of ‘In This Place’ and asked to write about a place special or significant to them. They rose to the challenge brilliantly and produced some fantastic work. Well done all! Orchestral project boosts pupils’ performance skills
Year 7 pupils formed a pop-up orchestra after taking part in a pioneering ensemble project.
