Students enjoy Mayflower play

Forty five Year 10 and 11 students enjoyed an evening of culture at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton last night (Thursday, September 19).

We went to see ‘An Inspector Calls’ which is one of our GCSE English Literature texts, and students really enjoyed seeing it live on stage.

For many students, it was their first visit to a theatre and they couldn’t help but admire the size, grandeur and beauty of the Mayflower!

It was particularly lovely to have a member of the theatre staff tell Mrs Meaden how well-behaved and polite our students had been before, during and after the performance. Well done, SAA students, for making us proud once again!
