We are pleased to share some photos from our recent trip to the Brecon Beacons.
We took 48 children, from Years 7 to 9, to Wales for the four day, action-packed stay at the Acorn Adventure site.
Students were able to try out a range of fun and challenging activities, including shooting, climbing, abseiling, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, orienteering and fencing.
There were also activities in the evening, including the Acorn Olympics and songs around the campfire.
We “upgraded” this year and stayed in glamping pods rather than tents, which gave students (and staff!) a few more mod cons. The weather could have been better – it was Wales after all – but everyone had a fantastic time and came back tired but happy.
