Careers fayre a great success

FROM hairdressing to the armed forces and everything in between – students were able to get information on a wide range of options at our successful careers fayre.

A wide variety of training providers, employers and education providers were represented at our careers fayre, ensuring there was something of interest for everyone.

Year 10 and 11 students all visited the fayre and were encouraged to ask questions and complete a form indicating what had interested them. There was an opportunity for parents to look round with their child at the end of the day and students from St Edward’s and Oak Academy also visited.

The fayre was organised with help from Parkstone Rotary and we are really grateful to them for their continued support.

Year 11 students will also be benefiting from a 1:1 careers interview with a specialist from Ansbury Guidance to help them make the right decisions about their future.
